About Gido Shoes
"Gido" Ltd. is a Bulgarian manufacturer of shoes with 18 years history. It has its own factory and was founded in 1995 in the city of Peshtera with its equity.
Gido offers our production at the local Bulgarian market and we also export it in Greece, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and other European countries.
Today, specialized departments within the shoe factory handle the various stages of production. This method of division of labor is known as nesting.
As soon as each division is done with its respective tasks, the shoe is sent on to the next step in the production process.
The shoemaking process is a long and detailed one. At Gido our shoemakers have a wealth of knowledge and mastery honed over years of dedication.
The number of steps involved in the shoe manufacturing process depends on the style of shoes being produced.
Some of these steps are: shoe prototyping, marking, cutting, sewing, clipping, assembling, finishing, polishing.
MANUFACTURE
The company is established in the town of Peshtera in 1995. At present day about 90% of the production is intended for the EU. For the past two years we have invested in new technologies and we have expanded our production capacity. Chasing the best quality by technical improvements in our credo!
The factory settles 6000m2 as the production premises cover 3500m2. There are several filial factories under the leadership of GIDO with a total staff of nearly 240 employees and the production capacity varies between 1000 and 2000 pairs per day.
Our flexible shoe manufacturing policy allows us to produce in small batches to test out the market or in larger quantities for wholesale. Depending on the quantity, lead time from design to delivery might take from 30 to 60 days.
